Children’s Lesson

Each Sunday, our children begin in church with their families and are called down front for a short lesson with our pastors before heading over to Sunday school.

On the March!

Our wonderful teachers and Youth Ed Director than escort the parade of children from our Sanctuary to Sunday School.

Circle Time

Sunday school starts with children of all ages joined together in celebration. Birthdays are celebrated, prayers are recited, and music is enjoyed! Younger children are mentored and helped by the older children. It is a very nurturing and inclusive time for all children to share.

Classroom Time

Following circle time, the children are divided by age groups into classrooms where two adults – a teacher and a teacher’s assistant – work with each class on age appropriate lessons, crafts and activities. Children remain in their classrooms until parents come after church to pick them up and get to enjoy what the children worked on.

Discover Greatness

To Parents and Guardians,

All people, young and old, gather in the church each week and remain with the family for the beginning of our service. Then, the children are called down front for a short lesson in the “big” church. If your child is shy, feel free to accompany them down. After the lesson, the children travel over to Sunday School. You can either walk with them and return to the back of the church, or send them off with the teachers if they feel comfortable. Once in the Education Wing, the children have a short group lesson and are then separated for age appropriate activities into age groups.

After the service, children remain in the classroom until their parents or guardians pick them up. This assures that they are supervised at all times. You will often be provided with a summary of that day’s lesson. You are also encouraged to talk with our teachers about your child's interaction in the classroom.
